Anton Semënovič Makarenko (1888-1939) è con Pestalozzi, Rousseau, Tolstoj, Don Milani, tra i pochissimi autori che, nel mondo contemporaneo, siano stati egualmente riconosciuti “grandi”, sia come educatori sia come scrittori. Le opere di Makarenko, ripubblicate ancora di recente in Russia come “Opere complete”, sono state e continuano ad essere largamente circolanti in tutto il mondo. In particolare il Poema pedagogico è l’opera più tradotta e studiata… Formidabile strumento formativo umano, nutrito di esperienze vitali essenziali e di raffinatezze letterarie, filosofiche, artistiche molteplici, provenienti da Gogol’, Dostoevskij, Gor’kij e, prima, da Platone, Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche. Da Marx-Engels, ma anche da Dante, Goethe, Maeterlink, Bellamy, Mark Twain, Zamjatin e Aleksej Tolstoj, nonché da Raffaello, Vrubel’, Ejzenštejn, ecc. In Italia - dove i libri di Makarenko sono attualmente pressoché introvabili -, oltre al Poema pedagogico, best seller degli anni Cinquanta e Sessanta del Novecento, hanno avuto una discreta circolazione Bandiere sulle torri, La marcia dell’anno’30, Consigli ai genitori, le lettere a Gor’kij. Quel che però è mancato e manca è una lettura del Poema pedagogico non ideologica e davvero corrispondente al dettato dell’autore. Proprio a ciò la presente edizione si propone di contribuire. |

Questa edizione del Poema pedagogico di Anton Semënovič Makarenko è, intanto, il frutto di una concreta attività didattica e di ricerca, in un determinato ambiente universitario (Roma “La Sapienza”). Ciò che provvisoriamente ne risulta, è il romanzo per eccellenza dei besprizornye (bambini e ragazzi “senza tutela”), nell’URSS degli anni Venti e Trenta del secolo scorso; e il “poema” dell’illimitata fiducia nell’educabilità umana, della responsabilità personale e della formazione del collettivo, della fertilità del nesso studio-lavoro, dell’“uomo nuovo” e della “prospettiva”. I temi, cioè, del Makarenko “antipedagogico” e del “collettivo”: della “pedagogia della lotta” e del “rischio”, del “gioco” e dell’“avventura”, del “senso dell’onore” e di una moralità elementare “altra”, della “libertà” e della “disciplina”, della “tradizione” e dello “stile”. PROPOSITIONS Italian Association Makarenko, founded in 2006, is open to italian and foreign scientists, researchers, teachers and university’s professors engaged in Anton Semënovič Makarenko’s works and experiences. Association is member of the International Makarenkian Association, directed by Tat’jana Fëdorovna Karablëva, Moscow. The purpose is to promote, in Italy and abroad, the knowledge and the studies on the pedagogical and educational experiences of Anton Semënovič Makarenko (1888-1939), to prove the results on the historic field, to testify the value in actual social context, to open a confrontation with similar experiences in Italy and in the world. The literary works of Makarenko, Pedagogical poeme, Flags on the towers, The march of the year Thirty, it’s not possible to find in Italy, with the following difficults for teachers and students to conduct literary and pedagogical researches. Italian Association wishes to promote a new up to date translations and print the must important works of Makarenko. The very famous italian painter Ennio Calabria painted portrait of Makarenko in 2006 and permitted its use like logo of the Association. We express him our gratitude, sincerly. |

Premised By Chiara Coppeto The pedagogy like “activity that produces other asset” is that originates the thesis and the choice of the argument in developed it; it is a synthesis between a course of bachelor in Philosophy and the experiences that beside this have grown. The firm conviction that the philosophy does not have only “a speculative” side, theoretically, but also a particularly pratical aspect that develop in an educational-dialocic relationship with the other, has often carried me to choose both determined matters of study and placed side by side to these concrete activities. In my plan of studies I have faced the reading of the philosophers classics with a particular interest for the political philosohy and of the language, but also I have tried to deepen, through the course of Comparitive Literature and more History of the Religion ( from that one of the primitive people to that one of Asia oriental them) , an aspect of the folklostic man -resuming exactly Antonio Gramsci-. To the theory I have connected a praxis, pedagogical, that have seen me engaged initially like volunteer in a plan against the premature schoolastic and then like educatrice in a nomadic field of Rome, inside of one activity series par the scolarizzation of the minors rom. Although the appearing distance I have recovered a lot of the philosophy studied in this job, in particular I have found very present the thematic relative one to education of a man with different values, “news”. Having already present like Gramsci author, I have known and I have approaced, through the examinations of Pedagogy and History of Pedagogy, to Anton Semёnovic Makarenko finding in his works a lot of my job of educatrice. They were similiar both the boys, returning also the rom in the immense category of “ abandoneed”, and the difficulties of the job that the spirit with which facing it, connected to the concretness and also sometimes to the crudness of the reality. Resuming Gramsci, in particular the Letters from the prison, and deepening Makarenko I have found in both a theory and a practical praxis of educational that it encloses in itself political and philosophy. The two authors believe firmily that the task more important is that “pedagocical one”, considering that in the activity of forming the “other” – that can be a boy abandoned like a laborer- more aspect gather dialectically, that philosophical ona, that politician, that experimental. In the thesis, having as thread conductor the approach that the two authors have in the cares of educating the man, I have tried to put them to comparison both the theory and for the pedagogical activities that during their life they have carried out. Therefore “between Gramsci and Makarenko”, taking in consideration the period from 1920 to 1937, that is the beginning of the experience of the colony “Gor’ kij “ and the ded of Gramsci after one long imprisonment. In facing the thematic one of the thesis I have been apple therefore to recover is the studies previously made, that they are you use to me from base in order to face in particular Gramsci and its Notebooks, than the educatrice acivity. To think pedagogy and politics faces of the same medal, allows in the first place “to make”, but above all “to make” having a scope, a aim, also political note. Moreover the two authors are tied from a strong personal engagement, considering education the ”other” like a fight in the first place against the own istincts, but also against the surrounding atmosphere from which we come and influence us in the course of life. Nothing of pre-arranged the much less personality than an invidual, than it can be modified, to evolve to cost but with a great strain of will. It has fascinated to me, also perhaps conquered the optimism with which Gramsci and Makarenko face the difficulties, pushed out both from one strongly confidence in the educability of the man through also determines moral and political values too. The work that both the authours have completed has to the base a deep consideration for thr dignity of the man, in how much is just when it is attempted to make to improve the persons, when it asks them to become rich that it is respected truly in how much such. According to my experience, this is the attitude that it obtains of turns out to you in the relationship with the rom; not the assistentialism but one takan of coscience of the real difficulties of a nomadic child, but subsequently also the demand to try to go beyond these difficulties. The pedagogy, in so far as, becomes more and more political and philosophy; to educate the “new man” remains, in spite of the years that distance to us from Gramsci and Makarenko, a task, an activity, a work in progress always puts into effect them. However it is the same Gramsci to write that it must create the man“current” to its age, and this is produced by means of concrete activities that to they time generate other asset and changes, in a vital and continuous flow that stretches to the improvement of the existing conditions.
